Off-air taping rights for cable-only and satellite-only channels

The following channels offer off-air taping rights. These channels are either cable-only, or satellite-only (or both) and don't qualify for the standard off-air taping exemptions, which apply to broadcast channels only. Please note that there are conditions that apply to many of the permissions listed here. Please consult with the channel directly about additional retention rights that may be available.

bullet The History Channel (http://www.historychannel.com/)

The exact length of time that a The History Channel Classroom program may be retained appears on air at the beginning of each program. All other programs aired on The History Channel may be videotaped and used in the classroom in accordance with the Standard Educational Fair Use Guidelines." Last updated: 10-23-04
